In case you haven’t heard already – I’ve been pretty vocal about it on Facebook and Twitter – I’m working on a puppet show that’s coming to Chicago next month. It’s called “The Paper Hat Game.”
I got interested in the job because I was in a puppet troupe back in Houston a few years ago. Although I’m not working on the creative side of the show this time around, I’m still getting back into the kind of work that really excites me. And I’m learning a lot.
With my super-talented designer friend Lynn Hong, I’m working on marketing and press relations, ticket sales, email blasts, social media, and anything else that gets delegated in our direction. It’s been a whirlwind of work, but it’s been so fun. And I can’t wait to see the finished product on stage.
